An Inspiring Vision

The Samra family entered the trucking industry with an inspiring vision: to build a company unlike any that they had seen or worked at before - a company where people came before anything else, where determined employees could be paired with the latest superior equipment and backed up by advanced technologies.

We also wanted to create an environment where customers could become more than just business acquaintances, where customers could actually become partners.

A History Of Proven Success

Founded as a family-owned and operated business, the Samra family took Capital Express Lines to the road as an independent carrier in January of 2001. While initially starting with just a single truck, Capital Express Lines has since experienced tremendous, yet steady, growth.

We attribute our execution of our founding vision for the rapid results with a level of performance that exceeded any other local freight carrier. This is when our pursuit of excellence truly took off.

Since our journey started, over two decades ago, we have consistently earned our reputation as a premier carrier in the Western USA. We are now well known for our focus on, and excellence in, the dry van Full Truck Load freight category.

People-Oriented Growth, Customer Satisfaction Driven

Since the beginning, Capital Express Lines has been influenced by the philosophy that success starts and ends with people. Our organization has succeeded for three main reasons:

  • First, we continuously equip our employees with outstanding tools and technologies, training and challenging them to meet the highest performance standards.
  • Second, we listen to our employees, encouraging their proactive problem-solving skills, and fostering their desire to improve our organization from within.
  • Third, our collaborative efforts with strategic partners creates the new and innovative ideas that are needed to solve persistent problems and to ensure our future success.

Continuing The Tradition

We are well known as a trusted asset-based carrier that is highly focused on the Full Truck Load dry van segment. Capital Express Lines routinely offers Critical Capacity and Dedicated Capacity capabilities to our Customers. Our award-winning service matched with our pursuit of excellence is what has always characterized Capital Express Lines and our dedicated employees.
